A Crown is a cover/ cap that needs to be placed on a tooth, in these

• After a root canal treatment
• Badly damaged/ no tooth structure left
• Discoloured teeth (intrinsic stains)
• Dental Implant
• To bridge a missing tooth, two crowns are placed on either side.
• Materials used:
• Metal (rare)
• Porcelain fused to metal
• Porcelain
• Ceramic
• Zirconia (most recommended)
